World No. 1 Novak Djokovic will defend his Australian Open crown after winning it last year against Andy Murray in straight sets. Djokovic has a very successful 2011 season after winning the Australian Open, Wimbledon Open and US Open Grand Slam tournaments. French Open titlist Rafael Nadal is seeded No. 2 and a cinch to win this tournament against Djokovic. 16-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer is seeded No. 3 in the tournament and picked up his winning ways late in the 2011 season. Robin Soderling and and Marin Cilic are seeded players decided to withdraw from the Grand Slam tournament because of different injuries. In the men’s doubles, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan will defend their doubles crown from a strong field of doubles specialists.
